Our Story

Give Yourself Grace

How our story of grace started and why we hope to inspire you to start yours too ❤️

I’ve always been good at showing grace to others—encouraging them, giving them the benefit of the doubt, reminding them they’re loved even when they fall short. But somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t extending that same grace to myself. I was mean to myself, held high standards, and was constantly struggling with shame.

So I prayed:

“God, teach me how to show grace, compassion, mercy, and kindness to myself the way I do for others. Teach me how to love me, like You love me.”

Grace is not earned—it’s given. It’s the gift God offers over and over, whether or not we feel we deserve it. Grace says you don’t have to be perfect to be loved. It says it’s okay to try again. It shows up in the middle of our mess, when we can’t possibly love ourselves, and whispers: You are still worthy.

The truth is, giving ourselves grace is not about lowering the bar or excusing mistakes—it’s about surrender. It’s letting go of the self-punishment God never asked us to carry. It’s trusting that if He chooses to offer us grace freely and without measure, we can’t afford to withhold it from ourselves.

That’s where Give Yourself Grace was born. It’s not just apparel—it’s compassion you can wear. It’s a daily reminder that God’s love runs deeper than our expectations, pain, or failures. It’s a call to be kind to ourselves while we grow, to rest without guilt, and to live out the truth that His mercies are new every morning.

Through Give Yourself Grace, our hope is to create spaces—both in apparel and in words—that point people back to the meaning of grace and to the heart of God. To remind us all that even in the thick of our struggles, He meets us with mercy, and that’s the beauty and miracle of giving yourself grace.
